Submit IdeaAccount-wide asset usage reporting
Allow admins to be able to view account-wide usage, such as: Most/least downloaded assets Most/least active users Most/least viewed assets To help with feeding back into the asset creation process, and to help identify users who aren't getting the full value from Dash.

Be able to hide "Browse by folder" on the Browse page
If you have no folders, browsing by folder is a bit redundant. You can enable browsing for other fields, but you can't disable browsing for folders on the Admin>Field page. Disabling browsing by folders would help users find the other fields to browse more easily.

Local desktop sync - access Dash from Finder
The ability to access a Dash account by browsing its folders from within Finder. This could be used for bulk uploads, and to support the creative workflow process - users could access Dash assets in their creative applications (e.g. Photoshop), edit them and save the edits back into Dash seamlessly.

2-way Canva Integration: Save designs back to Dash
Dash's Canva integration lets you easily drag your Dash assets into your Canva designs. What if we could save finished designs back into Dash?

Be able to view and manage active embeddable links in one place
As embeddable links are chargeable on storage/download-based plans, it would be helpful to users to be able to view all active embed links in one place, and to be able to open/delete them. E.g. this could be a tab in the Your Shares page.

Make it possible to delete assets when bulk editing assets; to be consistent with the upload area and single asset view.
A customer has noticed that when uploading assets in Dash, or going through assets in Dash, you're able to delete assets. However, when bulk editing assets, there is no "delete" option. It would be useful if this was possible, for consistency in functionality across Dash and also to help with editing asset workflows.

Collection search bar
My list of collections is starting to get long! I usually do a CMD + F search to find the exact colleciton I'm looking for, but an integrated search bar in the collections list would be useful.

Make embedded keywords searchable
It is possible to embed keywords in assets, for example when exporting from photo editing software. Dash could automatically detect these keywords and make them searchable. Note, in terms of current functionality: You can view embedded keywords by viewing embedded metadataYou can have Dash automatically make the keywords searchable by setting up your own keywords field and configuring embedded data mapping

Being able to select all files in a folder that has subfolders
You cannot view or select files within a main folder that has subfolders. In order to select them and apply tags or edit the files, you have to go inside the subfolder, which eliminates the possibility of selecting multiple files from two different subfolders. This was something that I was able to do few months ago, but with some new update it is not possible anymore. Now, instead of having an overview of the files, you have an overview of the subfolders.

Toggle to show assets in subfolders in the Browse page
In the (new as of November 2024) Browse page, to be able to optionally display assets that are contained within the subfolders of the current folder, similar to how it works in the All assets page.

Asset Stacks
Single asset in its multiple file types. For example: the same logo asset could contain various types—png, SVG, eps, .ai, pdf. A pamphlet or brochure includes both the original InDesign file and the finished PDF. FWIW, this is how Brandfolder organizes its assets.

Change views for folders
Would be nice if you can change the way assets are viewed in a folder. For example in a collage/gallery similar to how the "recently uploaded" assets are displayed. Think its just a much more visually appealing way of displaying assets for an average user.

Remember default file format when downloading
Dash has its own default filetype when downloading different types of assets. For JPGs, the default is JPG For TIFs and PNGs, the default is PNG (as PNGs support the transparency that may be in use in TIFs and PNGs) However, some users may prefer to choose a different download format compared to the default, which they would have to select every time. It would be nice if Dash could remember the user's preference.

Company name on shared asset page
When sharing individual items, the sharing page shows the name (or email address) of the individual who creating the sharing link. There should be an option to show the company name instead. For instance, I'm the main admin for Dash for my company, so I'm creating the share links. But when our customers visit those links, it looks like they are coming from me, personally, instead of my company.

One-view of all tags being used & the ability to add, delete or restrict which tags can be used
If admins can regulate which tags can and can't be used, it'll help standardize tag usage across assets and users. It'll also help prevent duplicate, erroneous or incorrect tags from being used.
