Submit IdeaExpiry date on portals
Currently we offer expiry dates on share links and collections, but not portals. It would be useful to be able to have this, as customers want to be able to control/limit distribution of their portal share links, for example when sharing sensitive information that they want to make sure isn't available indefinitely.

Ability to share a folder
Folders cannot be shared. Currently you can only select all. files within the folder and share as a multi-assets share links. This means that all the new assets added to that folder will not impact on the link that I share, so I need to do the "select all+share" every time I want to share my library with clients to make sure it's updated. Update existing assets with new versions in bulk
It is possible currently to upload a file to an existing asset as a new version. However, this has to be done one-by-one so if you have many assets to update with new versions it can be time-consuming. This feature would provide a way to upload multiple files and have them be added to existing assets as new versions, rather than creating new assets. As filenames don't need to be unique in Dash we would need to think about how a new file is matched correctly to the asset it should update.

Dark mode
Many of the images are transparent and white, so a dark mode would really help seeing the pictures more clearly

Ability to send a custom message directly from the asset's Share feature
I'd like to send a personal message when I share an asset or asset group out from our DAM instead of just a link. Many users might see just the link as spam or phishing if I cannot send a personal message and the asset may not get used.

Customise default invite message when inviting new users
To save me having to type it out each time, I'd like to customise the default invite message that gets sent to new users.

Adding watermark to assets
Hello. It would be great if there was a feature to add watermarks to images in a specific folder. Thanks Tabatha

When Dash identifies a duplicate in my upload, let me review where the duplicate is.
This would be helpful, so I can edit the existing asset and add it to a new folder, without duplicating the file.

Smart Tagging - suggest tags trained on my images and metadata
Save time tagging images with Smart Tagging. Dash learns from your existing images and metadata to automatically suggest the right tags on new uploads. đĄ Why itâs useful: Tagging assets manually is time-consuming, especially when youâre dealing with large batches of images. Smart Tagging speeds this up by using AI to suggest values for custom fields like campaigns, product names, rooms, or content types - based on the tags you've already applied to similar assets. By making it quicker and easier to tag your assets, theyâll become more searchable - helping your team find what they need, fast. âď¸ How it works: Upload your imagesDash analyses your assets using your existing metadataClick âShow suggestionsâ to see AI-generated tags for fixed-value fields like folders, dropdowns, or checklistsAccept, tweak, or reject suggestions before saving The more you tag, the smarter it gets - because Dashâs AI model is trained on your own data and improves over time.

Phone / mobile App
It would be useful to have an actual app you can download on the app store. It would be less clunky and more efficient than using a web based app. Many of our team members use their phones to download assets and post to social media.
