  2. When Dash identifies a duplicate in my upload, let me review where the duplicate is.

This would be helpful, so I can edit the existing asset and add it to a new folder, without duplicating the file.

  3. Granular permissions - more control on users

The 3 levels of user are not enough for a larger company. Currently you have 3 account levels. Only Admin can "Move" and "Delete" folders This means teams who need to manage their own assets folders need Admin control to do so. We dont want this number of people to have full admin. Ideally we would like to be able to create groups and define individual permissions for each group - i.e. to be able to create a group and determine if they can Add, Move, Delete assets, Add Move Delete folders etc, Add Users etc. The group functionality is great - but we need finer control over the permissions that sit alongside this.

  4. Local desktop sync - access Dash from Finder

The ability to access a Dash account by browsing its folders from within Finder. This could be used for bulk uploads, and to support the creative workflow process - users could access Dash assets in their creative applications (e.g. Photoshop), edit them and save the edits back into Dash seamlessly.

  8. Users can self-register a new user account

Instead of (as well as) admins having to invite users manually, this would offer the ability for users to register their own account. This could include things like: Register button on the login page Admin approves new registration requests

  9. Be able to see which assets have been shared externally

For internal teams to know when browsing which assets have been shared externally with for example media, stakeholders Bonus: to be able to see when they were shared and who with, which can be based off who the portal or collection was created for and when.

  10. Preview option for transparency images

We often have graphics with a lot of transparency and thin lines. In the preview/display you cannot recognise the graphic at all. There should be an option for how transparency should be displayed. Here is an example: https://nlc.dash.app/sharing/type/asset/0ea3e7a4-ce14-484a-a1e1-cd1caac36fa2

  13. Account-wide asset usage reporting

Allow admins to be able to view account-wide usage, such as: Most/least downloaded assets Most/least active users Most/least viewed assets To help with feeding back into the asset creation process, and to help identify users who aren't getting the full value from Dash.
