  1. More options for collaborators on shared collections - ability to distribute share link and to easily create a new collection

Give users more control when working with collections shared by others. Specifically: Allow collaborators to create and manage public share links. Right now, only the original owner can create a share link, even if others have been given collaborator access. This makes it hard for teams to keep a single, up-to-date link without going back to the owner every time assets change.Allow users to duplicate a shared collection into their own space, especially when they don’t have edit access. This would let them create a new collection based on what was shared with them; useful when they want to build on someone else’s selection, but maintain their own version. Also useful, if they run into the problem described in 1), and they want to easily distribute the collection. Although there is currently a workaround to select multiple assets from the collection and create a multi-share link, the interface is different when sending this type of link and looks less formal/professional. Why it's useful for the customer: Makes collaboration smoother, especially for teams managing shared, evergreen content like brand assets or headshots. It ensures users can make updates or adjustments quickly, keep links consistent, and present collections in a more polished and professional way, without always needing to loop in the original owner or rely on informal multi-share links. (this would be particularly achieved by 1 )

  2. Expired assets are automatically archived

When an asset expires, do one or more of the following: Archive the asset (needs a concept of archive) - i.e. hide it from certain users Delete asset Move asset to a specified folder Restrict functionality (e.g. can't download)

  3. Have a better way to separate out guest uploads to be approved from other uploads to be approved

Based on a customer request. For example, at the moment, an admin might see standard "Waiting to be approved" content mixed in with guest upload links for links that weren't created by them, which gets messy. It would be good if there was a better way to separate out these two types of uploads. Or, as an alternative, the the creator of the guest upload can choose who can approve the content. 4. Allow contributors to create Guest Uploads links

Based on customer feedback. If a contributor is able to approve Guest Upload links, they should be able to create them. Currently, this customer is having to give admin access to various users, which isn't ideal.

  5. Set an expiry date on users in groups

Currently, when a user is added to a certain group, they will stay in there until manually removed. It would be good if you could set an expiry date on those users, so that after a certain amount of time, they are removed from the group. This would help manage/govern permissions to certain folders, for example when working with partners such as agencies and vendors. Removing manually can be a bit time consuming, especially for accounts with a large number of users.

  6. Use certain field criteria to clearly mark that asset as "do not use" or hide it entirely

A customer wants to retain better control over their assets. When other users are scrolling through assets, they want them to clearly be able to see whether they're ok to use or not. Although field entries currently achieve this somewhat, it'd be good if this was even clearer, as they can be missed if not explicitly looking. 2 ways to do this could be: Hide the asset entirely (maybe from contributor/basic users?) if a certain field entry is selected, e.g "Use/ Do not use" > "do not use" is selectedIf "do not use" were selected, add some kind of clear banner or filter over the asset, so it's clearer that it shouldn't be used.

  7. A way to highlight previously uploaded assets (e.g. You uploaded this 1 year ago)

Sometimes we forget what’s in our Dash library because there are just so many assets! It’d be great to have a feature that jogs our memory - kind of like how iPhones show you “Here’s what you were doing a year ago.” Maybe Dash could surface an asset (or a few) from exactly 3, 6, or 12 months ago? Something like: “You uploaded this 1 year ago” This would help spark ideas, reuse content we’ve forgotten about, or just see what we were working on back then. Why it matters: We want to make the most of our content, but it’s easy to forget what we’ve already got. A gentle reminder could really improve discoverability and help teams repurpose great assets.

  8. Archive for storing assets for future recovery

Option to hide content from asset library while still retaining them for future use. This will help with decluttering the library, hiding content temporarily, or recovering it for future use. Similar to the archive feature on Instagram.

  10. Account-wide asset usage reporting

Allow admins to be able to view account-wide usage, such as: Most/least downloaded assets Most/least active users Most/least viewed assets To help with feeding back into the asset creation process, and to help identify users who aren't getting the full value from Dash.

  15. When Dash identifies a duplicate in my upload, let me review where the duplicate is.

This would be helpful, so I can edit the existing asset and add it to a new folder, without duplicating the file.
