  1. Allow Dash to be accessed by external AI tools (e.g. MCP support)

To allow Dash to support technologies like MCP that would allow external AI tools to easily integrate with and query Dash assets alongside other platforms.

  3. Ability to share a folder

Folders cannot be shared. Currently you can only select all. files within the folder and share as a multi-assets share links. This means that all the new assets added to that folder will not impact on the link that I share, so I need to do the "select all+share" every time I want to share my library with clients to make sure it's updated. 4. Ability to control/configure the filename of a downloaded asset

When providing assets to certain retailers, they can have specific naming convention requirements for the files you supply. The ability to construct a filename from other field values and suffixes/prefixes (a bit like in Photoshop) would help automate this.

  5. Deletion Traceability for Assets in DASH

Objective Introduce an audit capability that records and preserves traceability of asset deletions within DASH, allowing administrators to identify who deleted a specific asset and when. Current Situation Administrators can access all deleted assets within the recycle bin during the retention period (30 days). However, there is currently no visibility into which user performed the deletion. This limits accountability, auditability, and root cause analysis in case of accidental or unauthorized removals. Proposed Enhancement Implement a deletion audit trail with the following characteristics: User Identification Store the unique user ID and username of the person who deleted the asset. Timestamp Logging Record the exact date and time of deletion (including timezone). Asset Metadata Snapshot Preserve key metadata of the asset at the time of deletion (asset ID, name, type, project, owner, etc.). Visibility in the Recycle Bin Add a new column in the bin view: Deleted by Deleted on Audit Log Integration Ensure deletion events are included in the global audit log for reporting and compliance purposes. Allow filtering by user, date range, or asset type. Extended Retention (Optional) Even after permanent deletion (post 30 days), retain the deletion log entry for compliance and traceability. Business Value Improved accountability and governance Faster incident investigation Reduced operational risk Better alignment with audit and compliance requirements Increased trust in asset lifecycle management This feature would significantly strengthen control over digital asset management and align DASH with standard enterprise auditability practices.

  6. Reverse Order of Collections List

My collections list has grown a lot over the last couple of years. I'd love the option to reverse the order (new to old) so my most recents are always near the top of the list.

  9. When Dash identifies a duplicate in my upload, let me review where the duplicate is.

This would be helpful, so I can edit the existing asset and add it to a new folder, without duplicating the file.

  13. Smart Tagging - suggest tags trained on my images and metadata

Save time tagging images with Smart Tagging. Dash learns from your existing images and metadata to automatically suggest the right tags on new uploads. 💡 Why it’s useful: Tagging assets manually is time-consuming, especially when you’re dealing with large batches of images. Smart Tagging speeds this up by using AI to suggest values for custom fields like campaigns, product names, rooms, or content types - based on the tags you've already applied to similar assets. By making it quicker and easier to tag your assets, they’ll become more searchable - helping your team find what they need, fast. ⚙️ How it works: Upload your imagesDash analyses your assets using your existing metadataClick “Show suggestions” to see AI-generated tags for fixed-value fields like folders, dropdowns, or checklistsAccept, tweak, or reject suggestions before saving The more you tag, the smarter it gets - because Dash’s AI model is trained on your own data and improves over time.

  14. Phone / mobile App

It would be useful to have an actual app you can download on the app store. It would be less clunky and more efficient than using a web based app. Many of our team members use their phones to download assets and post to social media.
