This would be helpful, so I can edit the existing asset and add it to a new folder, without duplicating the file.

Ability to set a custom thumbnail for video assets. We share some finished projects in a portal, but all the auto-selected thumbnails are a black screen, so it’s not clear which video is which. Doesn’t need to be a high-res image or retrievable, but enough to tell one asset from another.

Folders cannot be shared. Currently you can only select all. files within the folder and share as a multi-assets share links. This means that all the new assets added to that folder will not impact on the link that I share, so I need to do the "select all+share" every time I want to share my library with clients to make sure it's updated. Currently, a customer's sales team is searching for a particular term, but it's the same as one of the built-in Dash field options (see internal note for more details). This means their results pull in assets that are not relevant to them. It would be good to either be able to remove these fields, or have the option to not include them when doing a search.

Objective Introduce an audit capability that records and preserves traceability of asset deletions within DASH, allowing administrators to identify who deleted a specific asset and when. Current Situation Administrators can access all deleted assets within the recycle bin during the retention period (30 days). However, there is currently no visibility into which user performed the deletion. This limits accountability, auditability, and root cause analysis in case of accidental or unauthorized removals. Proposed Enhancement Implement a deletion audit trail with the following characteristics: User Identification Store the unique user ID and username of the person who deleted the asset. Timestamp Logging Record the exact date and time of deletion (including timezone). Asset Metadata Snapshot Preserve key metadata of the asset at the time of deletion (asset ID, name, type, project, owner, etc.). Visibility in the Recycle Bin Add a new column in the bin view: Deleted by Deleted on Audit Log Integration Ensure deletion events are included in the global audit log for reporting and compliance purposes. Allow filtering by user, date range, or asset type. Extended Retention (Optional) Even after permanent deletion (post 30 days), retain the deletion log entry for compliance and traceability. Business Value Improved accountability and governance Faster incident investigation Reduced operational risk Better alignment with audit and compliance requirements Increased trust in asset lifecycle management This feature would significantly strengthen control over digital asset management and align DASH with standard enterprise auditability practices.

It is better if we can add more information on users such as the company name and country so the user management will be easier, also it is better if we can down load a list of users in specific group.

Currently, if I don't go to our repository homepage, I don't see that I have assets to review/approve. There should be a banner notification on the other pages to alert me. Thanks!

Currently, feedback disappears once an asset is approved. The requirement would be that feedback persists/remains for users to have an audit trail.

Need the ability to see who made what changes especially when it comes to deleting data or deleting folders etc.

Currently only admins can create portals - our marketing team needs to make these portal for new clients so that they have a dedicated destination to view the assets we have shared with them. This has led me to make everyone an admin which is a big headache because then anyone can make changes to the whole setup.

Currently there is a black outline around all assets, it has quite a jarring impact for customers looking at our product collection. It would be great if the colour can be changed to white or grey

Ability to limit the usage/visibility of certain fields to specific folders.
