  1. Download approvals

Allow downloads to be requested by users/non-users to ensure that assets aren't used when they are no longer current. Users can request to download an asset and an admin then has to approve, similar to guest link submissions but in reverse.

  2. Account-wide asset usage reporting

Allow admins to be able to view account-wide usage, such as: Most/least downloaded assets Most/least active users Most/least viewed assets To help with feeding back into the asset creation process, and to help identify users who aren't getting the full value from Dash.

  6. Set thumbnails for videos

Ability to set a custom thumbnail for video assets. We share some finished projects in a portal, but all the auto-selected thumbnails are a black screen, so it’s not clear which video is which. Doesn’t need to be a high-res image or retrievable, but enough to tell one asset from another.

  7. Figma integration

Product teams, large and small, have moved over to Figma. The integration would be so awesome.

  8. See storage sizes per folder

We use Dash across our team, each team with their own budget, so knowing how much storage space each top-level folder is using would be helpful to see so that we can share the budget across teams. Seeing the number of assets is very helpful and part of the way towards this, but some teams have large videos in their folders which massively skews the amount of storage space they are taking up. Could be a 'live' figure (as we currently have for number of assets in folders) or a way to run a report on top-level folders (or per folder) that shows number of assets, number of downloads, total storage etc.

  9. Show selected file format in crop panel

When making a crop, there is no way to tell on that screen what file format you have already selected on the main download menu. To check, you'd have to go back to the menu, thereby losing the crop you had just made.

  10. Receiving notifications of expired/expiring assets to all users

It would be great to receive notifications on expiring assets by everyone who has access to DASH and not just the person who has uploaded the media file.
